Coherent for Development?

The Norwegian Policy Coherence for Development Commission completed its mission on 9 September. A broad public hearing for its report “Coherent for Development?” is scheduled to last until 31 December 2008.
The Norwegian Policy Coherence for Development Commission (Utviklingsutvalget) completed its mission on 9 September 2008 by submitting its report “Coherent for Development?” (Samstemt for utvikling? NOU 2008:14) to Erik Solheim, Minister of the Environment and International Development.
A broad public hearing for the report is scheduled to last until 31 December 2008. Some of the Commission’s proposals are part of broader political processes and therefore already being dealt with. The Government will decide by the end of the hearing period which other proposals to follow up.
